How do i get my configurations included
Thats what we have the make-db script for, its a shell script thats around 300 lines which will create a skeleton database (example) of configuration files.
You'll have to fill out some info first though in the script itself before you're able to use it, this is very user-friendly and requires no knowlage of shell scripting.
After it's finished the script will offer you to include documentation or extra configuration files which you think are important, please do so, and if you find extra files which i failed to see the importance of write to us on the above mailing list explaining what files they were and what they're for, so we defenetly wont miss it.
What files does the make-db script copy?
Here is a complete list (autogenerated)
/etc/X11/XF86Config /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/conf.d/cpudyn /etc/conf.d/gpm /etc/conf.d/hdparm /etc/cpufreqd.conf /etc/debian_version /etc/devfsd.conf /etc/fb.modes /etc/fstab /etc/gentoo-release /etc/gpm/* /etc/make.conf /etc/modules.autoload.d/* /etc/modules.d/alsa /etc/pbbuttonsd.conf /etc/pld-release /etc/rc.conf /etc/rc.d/rc.local /etc/sysctl.conf /etc/yaboot.conf /proc/cpuinfo /usr/src/linux-beta/.config /usr/src/linux-dev/.config cp
